USPA NEWS - After the immense success encountered last year for the second edition of the "3 Days in Cannes" program, which had doubled in duration, the Cannes Film Festival is renewing the operation. For 2 x 3 days, from May 13 to 15 or from May 21 to 23, 18-28 year old film enthusiasts from all over the world are invited to come and discover the films from the Official Selection.
Launched in 2018, part of the Festival´s desire to deepen its links with young film enthusiasts and to breathe fresh air on the Croisette, "3 Days in Cannes" is projected with festival-goers and spectators of tomorrow. This operation is now confirmed as an essential meeting.

In 2019, the "3 Days in Cannes" pass enabled more than 2,800 young people, eager for discovery, to experience the 72nd edition and participate in a common heartbeat. Among these 2,800 young moviegoers aged 22 on average, 47% of whom came from abroad, 78% plan to work in the cinema. Eager to transmit the taste for cinema and the cinema while encouraging professionalization, the Festival intends to perpetuate its initiative in 2020 by strengthening its action through meetings and masterclasses. “¢ What? A 3-day pass which gives access (subject to availability) to the Official Selection (Competition, Out of Competition, Special Screenings, Un Certain Regard, Cannes Classics, Cinéma de la Plage) and the Palais des Festivals, as well as to a program dedicated to Les Arcades cinema for the last three days. “¢ For who ? Cinema lovers aged 18 to 28, from all backgrounds and all nationalities. “¢ When? Two options to choose: from Wednesday May 13 to Friday May 15, 2020 (accreditation to be withdrawn from Tuesday May 12) or from Thursday May 21 to Saturday May 23 (accreditation to be withdrawn from Wednesday May 20). “¢ Accreditation conditions?
